Privacy policy

Last updated: April 26, 2026

This policy explains how DoctorCalc handles calculator inputs, server logs, analytics, advertising, contact messages, and privacy questions.

Calculator inputs

DoctorCalc calculators run in your browser. DoctorCalc does not require accounts and does not intentionally store calculator inputs in a user profile. Avoid entering names, contact details, medical record numbers, or other information that is not needed for the calculation.

Server logs

Standard hosting logs may include IP address, browser information, referrer, requested URL, and timestamp. Logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and basic site operation.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, they should be configured to measure aggregate site usage rather than collect medical histories. Analytics should not be treated as a medical record.

Cookies and advertising

DoctorCalc may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, security, preferences, or advertising. If advertising is enabled, ads should be kept away from calculator inputs, warnings, and result cards. Advertising does not change calculator results or source notes.

Contact messages

If you email DoctorCalc, your message and email address may be used to respond to your request, investigate calculator issues, or improve source notes. Do not send urgent medical questions through email.

Children's privacy

DoctorCalc is not designed to collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians should avoid entering identifying details into calculator pages or contact messages.
