Advertising policy

Last updated: April 26, 2026

DoctorCalc may use advertising in the future to support the site. Advertising must remain separate from calculator results, formula notes, source references, and safety warnings.

Ads do not influence calculator results

Advertising does not change calculator formulas, thresholds, results, source notes, or safety language. Calculator content should be edited for accuracy and user safety, not to favor an advertiser.

Placement rules

Ads, if enabled, should not interrupt calculator inputs, result cards, emergency warnings, medication warnings, pediatric warnings, or source notes. Ads should be clearly separated from educational content.

Sponsored content

DoctorCalc should not publish sponsored medical claims as calculator guidance. If a page ever includes sponsored material, it should be clearly labeled and kept separate from calculator results.

Ads.txt status

The included ads.txt file currently states that no advertising sellers are authorized. If advertising is enabled later, the file should be updated with the correct publisher information from the ad platform.
